The Cutting Edge is for sale to allow Mark Knapp, the owner and operator, time to pursue custom knife making full time. It is a successful and profitable business, the only one of its kind in Fairbanks. The business includes the business name, phone number, customer base, complete customer list (several thousand), all signs, web site and advertising materials; the machines included are: a Foley manual carbide grinder, (3) Foley manual router bit grinders, a Write automatic carbide saw blade grinder, a Vollmer automatic steel blade grinder, (2) Foley planer blade grinders, a Foley auto saw filer, re-toothers and setters, a Tormek wet grinder and many extra machines, fixtures, supplies and work benches associated with sharpening, also a non-compete clause and some training to get you familiar with the equipment and my customers. I am asking $200,000. The price is based on the current value of the equipment and two years profit. I have happy, loyal customers, enough to employ two full time people and turn away the work that is not profitable. Included with the business is no debt.
